Troye Sivan Looks Stunning on His First-Ever Vogue Cover
Congratulations, Troye!
Troye Sivan is absolutely blooming on his first-ever Vogue cover!
The singer and actor is looking amazing on the cover of Vogue Australiaalongside his The Idol co-star Lily-Rose Depp.
Sivan is part of HBO’s controversial, short-lived series The Idol as Xander, a childhood friend and now creative director of Depp’s pop star character Jocelyn.
While the show garnered a ton of hype and press, reactions to the episodes have been less flattering. Many complain that the show has bad sex scenes, misogynistic scenes, and bad acting from its star Abel “The Weekend” Tesfaye.
“My first ever Vogue cover. And it’s with my twin bestie,” Sivan wrote on Instagram. “Thank you @vogueaustralia @christinecentenera @lilyrose_depp. This is an insane dream come true.”
Depp, who stars alongside Sivan in The Idol, commented on Sivan’s post, saying, “I love you sister.”
Vogue Australia also posted another cover featuring Sivan solo with the headline Troye Sivan Icon Status: Inside the most talked-about TV show of the year. It also included a quote from Sivan’s interview.
“For me, as someone who has never worked in TV before, this was an experience of a lifetime. And yeah, sometimes I was intimidated or petrified or whatever, but I was really happy to be creatively pushed in that way, even if it did get tough,” Sivan said in the cover story.
The Idol is airing its final episode this week.
