I can hear the bells, well, don't you hear 'em chime?
Nikki Blonsky, most famous for playing Tracy Turnblad in the 2007 movie adaptation of the musical Hairspray, has gotten engaged to her fiance Hailey Jo Jenson (they/them).
"I've played plenty of characters in love in my life and it has been a blessing, but the greatest blessing in life is real love, true love and I am honored to finally feel unconditional love, and a love that is pure," Blonsky wrote on Instagram.
"A while back I introduced to you all a stunning human @theyleyjo as my girlfriend and now I have the honor, privilege and greatest joy of calling this incredible person my fiance," she continued. "I am so incredibly in love with you @theyleyjo and my love for you is endless, you mean everything to me! Here's to FOREVER my love!!!"
Blonsky and Jensen first went public with their relationship in June of this year.
"I just wanted to take a moment and properly introduce you to @theyleyjo the person who makes my heart sing and the one who makes me the happiest gal on the planet," Blonsky wrote in a Pride Month post at the time.
Blonsky initially came out on TikTok in 2020 when she posted a video of herself dancing to Diana Ross's classic gay anthem "I'm Coming Out."
She wrote the caption, "Hi, It's Nikki Blonsky from the movie I'm Gay," playing on the popular meme of her introducing herself as "Nikki Blonsky from the movie Hairspray."
Her fiance is a nonbinary artist from Ogden, Utah who makes handmade crystal jewelry. Congrats to the happy couple!
