Can a gay girl get an amen?!

The WorldPride Music Festival has already announced the biggest names slated to take the stage in Washington, D.C. this June including Jennifer Lopez, Troye Sivan, Kim Petras, RuPaul, Zedd, and so many more.

Well guess what Mimi? There's another iconic queer artist who's bringing her empowering and fruity bops to the main stage as pop powerhouse Reneé Rapp is the latest headliner to join the epic lineup.

Fresh off the release of her new single, "Leave Me Alone," the Sapphic star is also known for her roles as Regina George in the movie musical Mean Girls, The Sex Lives of College Girls, and her smash hits "It’s Not My Fault" and "Talk Too Much."

"Pride is everything. It is protection, it is visibility, it is intersectional, but most importantly, it is a celebration of existence and protest," Rapp exclusively tells PRIDE.

Beyond her appearance at the WorldPride Music Festival, Rapp will also serve as one of the grand marshals of the WorldPride Parade taking place on June 7.

Produced by Dreamland's Jake Resnicow in partnership with Capital Pride and DC’s own Club Glow, the WorldPride Music Festival represents a vital moment in queer history LGBTQ+ culture and music.

"We’re proud to spotlight Reneé and so many incredible queer artists on our main stage. This is more than a music festival. It’s a movement," Resnicow says.

This legendary event is also giving back in a big way as Dreamland has committed over $100,000 to the nonprofit Capital Pride Alliance. Also, more than 2,500 pro bobo tickets are reserved local LGBTQ+ individuals and community organizations who might not be able to attend.

Tickets are nearly sold out! The WorldPride Music Festival is taking place at the RFK Festival Grounds on June 6 and 7 in Washington, D.C. Learn more at the official website here.
